Welcome from the Superintendent
It is with great honor and enthusiasm I welcome you to the Website of International Independent
School. A school that is deeply committed to inspire students to achieve their goals and become
passionate, creative, and successful learners. Education is developing rapidly; many theories and
research have predicted what the future of education may hold. Here at IIS, our mission is to
prepare our students to contribute and adapt to an advanced modern world along with acquiring
the keys of success in their post studies and careers; Arming them with excellence in teaching, a
highly personal approach, and a technology-enriched learning environment.
As the Superintendent of IIS, I believe that instilling the value of our heritage and preparing our
students for the future will converge towards creating world-class leaders; Ones who are
significantly contributive to the global community. From K to 12 our educational vision is
implemented through a comprehensive mission in education applied by a hand picked team of
faculty who are known for their passion for education and their ability to blend time-tested
pedagogy and targeted teaching, with modern, cutting-edge strategies and individual
differentiation.
Students at IIS enjoy the vibrant atmosphere; it helps them be creative and above all outward
looking. We are much more than an ordinary school; we are a learner, researcher, initiative, and
leading school who opt for being an outstanding school in the international community. In IIS,
students are given the opportunity to develop curiosity, imagination, resilience and self-
regulation, and learn to respect and appreciate the ideas, perspectives and values of others, we
will be assisting them in becoming lifelong learners, who are responsible decision makers
when solving problems encountered in our multicultural, ever-changing world. We are a
caring community and our student’s needs are top priority. We serve and take great pride in
ensuring that our supportive interaction and intensive follow-up will make the school a happy
and fulfilling experience for the whole family.
I personally along with the faculty and our extraordinary students believe in the
importance of trust, respect, innovation and a sense of community. I am absolutely gratified
that the development of the school over the past few years has been significant. Our school
has announced proudly the opening of our second branch which wouldn’t have happened
without hard work and a clear vision and mission which meets our high standards. The
future will build on these firm foundations focusing on the quality of school life, especially
for the benefit of our learners.
Currently, IIS is an international and national authorized School for the Primary Years and
High School Diploma Programs. IIS is also a College Board Examination Centre and has
become a fully accredited member of Cambridge, Edexcel and AvancED, following a lengthy
period of evaluation and a rigorous inspection process. We continually improve the quality
of tools of communication, including giving our parents access to an interactive website
where they can retrieve pertinent information about their children’s academic
achievement. You are encouraged to regularly check our website and read about our
